I took my daughter Madelyn fishing for bluegill. I bought her, her first adult fishing rod (micro trout rod) and let her go to town, casting and hooking all of her own fish. She stated that she has eaten salmon and other ocean fish but would like to eat bluegill and a fish she caught herself. I was happy to oblige and that night Maddy ate some Bluegills!
